Upward Basketball and Cheerleading is a seasonal sports ministry that begins with registration in the fall. It is a carefully organized sports league for K through sixth graders playing a two month season in January and February. In this league, all children are welcome regardless of skill level or experience.
Every child gets equal playing time and receives the training and encouragement of dedicated coaches. The goal of Upward is to provide a positive, low pressure sports experience where children learn about God’s love for them. Three hundred children participated in the 2010 Upward league.
