Worship and Music

/files/Pics/calltoworship.gifTraditional Worship -- Sunday at 9:30 a.m.

Worship is our response to a loving God.  We bring the best of ourselves and our gifts to shape worship that honors God and transforms our lives. This service follows the patterns of biblical worship as practiced in the Presbyterian tradition, but also includes more contemporary elements in order to connect more effectively with the non-churched.

Children are welcome!  There is usually a Children’s Sermon, after which the younger children may go to Children’s Church in a nearby classroom.  A well-managed nursery is always available for children age 2 and under.

Contemporary Worship -- Sunday at 10:55

“Connections” is a new contemporary worship experience at SBPC each Sunday at 10:55 a.m. beginning April 4. It celebrates and seeks to grow our connections with God and with one another and with the world. It will be led by a three piece band including Pastor Mike Beaugh as worship leader. Parents can enjoy this worship while their children are in Christian Education classes.
